About Me
I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Decision Analytics and Operations at the College of Business, City University of Hong Kong. I earned my Ph.D. in the Department of Technology, Operations, and Statistics at the Stern School of Business, New York University, where I was fortunate to be advised by Professor Xi Chen, Professor Elynn Chen, and Professor Jeffrey Simonoff. Prior to NYU Stern, I received my B.S. in Statistics from the School of Mathematical Sciences at Peking University.

Research Interests
My research lies at the intersection of statistical methodology, machine learning, and data-driven decision-making. I am particularly interested in developing statistical estimation and inference frameworks for analyzing heterogeneous data arising from multiple different sources.
This includes advancing methods in:
- Distributed learning
- Transfer learning
- Reinforcement learning
with a focus on challenges like data heterogeneity and task discrepancy.
I am also engaged in work on:
- Tensor decomposition
- Multi-armed bandit algorithms
- Longitudinal data analysis
- Tree-based models
with an emphasis on improving both computational efficiency and theoretical guarantees in high-dimensional or structured settings.
